When the roommate returned at 4:00 a.m., Elizabeth was gone, though she did not have access to a car and all her personal belongings were left behind.

Jackie Douthart, 24, went missing on May 22, 2011 from Mount Pleasant. She was last seen by Benjamin Biggs, who was termed “a person of interest” in her disappearance. Biggs killed himself about a month later following a high-speed chase and standoff with police in Quincy, Illinois.
