On Sunday, October 28, 1973, Doris Elaine Konecne — the secretary for Union County Attorney Robert Rolfe — was found in her Creston, Iowa, apartment on the kitchen floor. The 38-year-old secretary had been strangled the previous evening.

Corinne Perry left her residence the evening of April 17, 1983, to go to the laundromat, and disappeared sometime between 8:30 and 9 p.m. that evening. Her car was found at the laundromat the following day.

On Valentine’s Day 2018, Paul Allen Scheel, 45, was found dead in his Creston, Iowa, apartment.
Officers with the Creston Police Department conducted a welfare check at 300 East Montgomery Street, Apartment 3, at approximately 8:17 p.m. Wednesday night and found Scheel deceased. The apartment is located in the basement of the Eagles Lodge #1398.
I had no idea we have unsolved murders in Creston, Iowa.
What about this little boy? Boone Denton died Feb. 1, 2018, in Creston of complications from blunt force trauma to the abdomen, according to the state medical examiner’s office. So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
I’ve never heard of this boys death, was it not made public?
