Support our Efforts

IOWA COLD CASES, INC., is a nonprofit organization committed to providing case summaries, articles and updates for the state’s unsolved homicide cases and persons who went missing under suspicious circumstances.

Our mission is to educate communities about these unsolved crimes, share and exchange resources as we strive to accurately present each case, and to ensure every victim’s story is told and kept alive until those responsible are held accountable.

We invest many hours in research and interviews, writing the case summaries, posting updates to the website, and following up with inquiries. And, while we’re proud of our narratives provided within these pages (many have been republished on other sites, both with and without permission), we need your support to help fund the endeavors that make this website possible.

Please consider making a small donation to help us succeed. All contributions are tax deductible and go toward funding our ongoing investigative research efforts and providing current and relevant case information.

Since launching Iowa Cold Cases in 2005, our annual total contributions have averaged $521 per year. In the years 2017 and 2018, our basic operational expenses exceeded more than $3,200 for each year.

Though we work as a liaison with local, state and federal agencies, we receive no local, state or federal funding.
