Early Thursday, April 10, 1969, Iowa Highway Patrol officers found 56-year-old Leo Joseph Smith’s body at a rest area on Highway 20 thirty miles east of Sioux City, Iowa, in Woodbury County. His throat had been cut.
Description: White male, 33-53 years of age, approximately 5’6″ tall
Details: Skeletonized remains found 08/30/88 in a roadside ditch 1/2 mile east of Correctionville in Woodbury County.
