There is no reason why the young unidentified lady shouldn’t have been identified by now. Forensic technology has progressed to such a point where skeletons provide usable DNA and a more specific age of the victim. That being true, why has she been left forgotten in an unmarked grave?
John, I agree with your comment. However, it costs money to have those tests. Also, I wonder if they took any samples that could be sent. If not they may have exhume her remains. That normally requires a court order and money.

I feel a deep sympathy for all family members suffering the loss of missing family. With all the technology and DNA these days… Why is this? We can’t it’s don’t search find work hard enough, if fire enough to do or complete the job. We should never stop searching..
Hire smarter individuals or use the money to investigate poperly…
I wonder if the murder of Pam Hinrichs and George Leonard , may be connected. They worked at similar places of business in a sense.
Was George a robbery victim, or was he shot for general principles. I see that Pamela was murdered on a Tuesday. What day of the week was November 28, 1981.
I would think if the police department had it’s together, then they should make a stab at clearing a few of these cases. Especially, since one commenter suggested a possible motive for his death.
It is my belief that Louis Dale Reed was murdered by the parent or relative of yet another child he sexual molested. I was six years old when he sexually abuse me at his junk yard when my mother and her then boyfriend left my sister and I at the junkyard. I was a senior in high school when he was shot dead. His death lifted some of the emotional damage I carried. there isn’t a day that goes by that I cant visualize the acts he forced on my tiny body.
Terry Leon Johnston needs to be added to the cold case files!!!
He still has not been added to the cold case files. He was murdered by residents of South Clinton in 1997. Please look into this and have him added.
Laurie, this is Carol, filling in for Jody. I have found nothing online about Terry Leon Johnston except for this post. I’m sorry for the omission and sorry the family has not heard from the DCI for a long time. I’m an unpaid volunteer, and Jody has never been paid for her work her nor reimbursed for the cost of the website, and ICC has grown beyond the means of one or two volunteers. The volume of emails, questions, tips, and new cases is daunting. Again, I’m sorry this case seems to be getting no attention, and I’ll do what I can to get it added to ICC. Without more hands on deck and funds to pay the annual fees to have a website, getting new cases filed is growing harder. I don’t have Jody’s tech skills, and Jody has been hit with cancer and more surgeries coming up. I would say ICC is at a crisis point in terms of the case load and the lack of staff to handle the details. (Carol)
I remember speaking with his daughter not long after he was found. The pain on her face should be more than enough reason for police to double down and find his killer/s.
I will bet any amount of money that the black lady was killed by a white person and probably was impregnated by a whiteperson I lived in Clinton for sometime and encountered a lot of racism! If you don't want to be associated with anyone black, keep your Dic* in your pants!
I know that my family is not dwelling on Pam’s death. They just wish new information would come forth. I wish I would have gotten to know my aunt. My mom and my aunt’s and uncles still share stories about her. One day I hope we get that call. More than 30 yrs I hope we find peace n justice for Pam.
Why would a person dwell only the past, in some cases more than 30 years ago? Why would some people who prefer to dwell only in the past refuse to even acknowledge the events in more recent times, like the 30 years since? There is a reason for it.

Actually it’s been 32 years exactly. 19 consecutive solved murders seems like a good start. Especially since most Clinton Cops were not born when these occurred. I guess 19 solved murders in a row is not ever changing.
