Early morning on October 12, 1973, police found the body of 23-year-old Alexander Torres Sauceda slumped in the front seat of his car in the Duck Creek Plaza parking lot at 852 Middle Road in Bettendorf, Iowa. He had been shot in the head. There were four spent .22 caliber cartridges next to his body.
