On Monday, November 22, 1976, two young men found John Robert Hill, 51, lying face down at the Ottumwa Launderette that Hill owned and operated. Hill had been stabbed 21 times and also had been shot.

Francis F. Jordon, Sr.
Ottumwa, IA (Wapello County)
July 12, 1978

On the early morning of July 12, 1978, Francis F. Jordon, Sr., was found dead by his son and a friend. Jordon had been beaten to death and thrown over the bank beside the Des Moines River out across Cliffland Park.
