Homicide: On Thursday, Valentine's Day 1974, Louis Dale Reed, Sr., was killed by a 410 shotgun blast to the chest inside a building at the salvage yard he operated on Clinton's south side. He also had a shotgun wound to his left arm. |

Homicide: On October 28, 1974, at 11:30 a.m., Ewalt Bandixen was found dead at his service station from gunshot wounds. |

Homicide: Pam Hinrichs, 19, was shot during an apparent robbery of the AMVETS Post No. 28 at 1317 S. 17th St. in Clinton, Iowa, either late evening on January 12, 1981, or early morning Jan. 13. According to reports at the time of the incident, the cash register and a nearby safe were cleaned out. There were no substantial leads, suspects or witnesses. |

Homicide: On September 29, 1982, Robert Clary was found dead on the floor of his trailer with a gunshot wound to the chest. |

Homicide: George Leonard was shot while working at his job at the Inn Tavern in Clinton, Iowa, the morning of November 28, 1982. |

Hit-and-Run Homicide: The Clinton Police Department is renewing its appeal for information on the hit-and-run death of Josh Yoder. Josh Yoder, age 4 was killed on May 3, 2005, when a hit and run driver struck him in the 500 block of South 9th Street in Clinton, Iowa. The Clinton Police Department is seeking information leading to the identification of the driver, or the offending vehicle, involved in the incident. |

Homicide: Alysia Kay Marburger was reported missing to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office on October 10, 2008. Her body was discovered near the access road to Rock Creek Cabins in Camanche, Iowa (Clinton County) on Oct. 24, 2008. |

Missing Person: Around 10:30 p.m. on February 9, 2008, Ben Roseland left a friend's house in the 400 block of 10th Avenue South, Clinton, Iowa, to walk a few blocks to a Hy-Vee grocery store located in the 900 block of South 4th Street. He never made it to the store. |
