Five-year-old Evelyn Miller was reported missing on July 1, 2005, from an apartment south of Floyd that her mother, Noel Miller, shared with her fiancé, Casey Frederiksen. Evelyn’s body was found in the Cedar River, about two miles from her home, five days after she was reported missing. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
