The body of 37-year-old Angela Renee Buck was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest on Friday, August 11, 1995 near a creek on North Pilot Grove Road, 1 1/2 miles east of Independence Avenue east of Waterloo and south of Dunkerton. The site was in a wooded area, just below a short bridge.
