The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office found Pamela Shadle, 48, dead in her Dakota City, Iowa home on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 after receiving a call from Shadle’s roommate, Patrick McPherren. Shadle died from a single gunshot wound.
