Kyanja Keri Vanwey, then 17 years old, was last seen on September 14, 2005, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was not reported missing to the Des Moines Police Department until January 4, 2006. It is unknown why she wasn’t reported earlier.
Kyanja has a scar on her right hand between her thumb and forefinger, and also has pierced ears and a pierced nose. She may have dyed her hair to another color.
She has been known to go by the nicknames “Kiki” and “Keri.”

in response to your description of my Daughter Kyanja, I did report her missing the same night she didn’t call me back.and she went missing on Sept 6 of 2005 not the 14th.i just never got any responses from any of you people.and i have been searching ever since.have you?
