David Redowl
Sometimes crimes associated with domestic disputes are the most complicated to untangle because of strong emotions and loyalties. Such was the case with 27-year-old David L. Redowl.
David was dead on arrival from stab wounds at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 1997. Earlier, David and his 24-year-old sister Sonja had a physical altercation in the backyard of their mother’s residence at 610 West 3rd Street, where they both lived. No charges were ever brought in this case because of conflicting and inconsistent witness statements.
